Local Summary
Today started well for the main apron at Leeds Bradford with the arrival of the Enter Air 738 from Dusseldorf. This along with Eastern's G-CHMR operated two flights on behalf of the Pilgrimage tours to Lourdes in Southern France. One addition to the Multiflight ramp was Challenger G-DAYR which arrived from Alicante and returned ther later in the day . It was far busier by mid afternoon as the boys with bigger toys started to arrive. The Travelservice operated Citation 680 OK-EMA was a welcome visitor from Figari, but a brace of Maltese registered aircraft owned by Air X Charter stole the spotlight when first to arrive was Boeing 737 9H-AHA a 27 year old machine that spent the majority of its early days withe Brathens and subsequently SAS Scandanavian Airlines, the aircraft came to the company in October 2018 and is beleived to be in 56 seat 2 x 2 Business class configuration . The second example CRJ200 9H-YOU although not as old has operated for Airlink Airways / Private Sky as EI-EEZ and was re-registered on the Maltese flag and started ops with Air X in April 2016, this particluar aircraft if fitted with up to 16 VIP class seats.
