On Monday night we lost an iconic person to Yorkshire Spotters. The founder Steve Scott sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer. Steve would help anyone on the e-mailing list, also posting due lists for us to get what we needed. He also updated other databases on the internet with Scramble being one of his favourites.

A kind hearted individual, he would bring joy and laughter to all who met him. Passionate about all things both aviation and photography he took many people under his outstretched wings and guided them along. You will be missed by so many, but you will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
