Summary
A day for
firsts, if you get my drift? Inundated with virgin callers to the airport on the
hill today. Our first arrival brought Horses for the York races by the way of
ASL operated Boeing 737 OE-IBO Ex N799AS of Alaskan Airlines. The next
newbies were German registered Lattitude D-CAWK and Vistajets
Global Express 9H-VJP both daytime arrivals from Samedam and Cork respectively.
Somewhat of a lull ensued prior to our next batch of fresh blood when Air
Hamburg sent Lagacy D-ATOP in from Split. Citation Lattitude CS-LTE also made an
appearance from the French riviera. Both the aforementioned appear to be night
stoppers. Our next newcomer, although a very regular sight in the hold above
Leeds and shooting the ILS numerous times in its RAF days its first appearance
here as G-RAFL (ex ZK452) was more than welcome. Last but not least Vistajet
sent CRJ2 9H-ILB which was was a late evening arrival from Barcelona.
